The annual roll is one of the most anticipated events of the spring in the DMV, and the White House is offering free tickets to families with at least one child under 12 years of age.
Tickets become available through a lottery system, where families can enter beginning on Thursday, March 16 at 10 a.m. The lottery will close a week later on Thursday, March 23 at 3 p.m.
Ticket winners will be announced on Monday, March 27.
The annual Easter Egg Roll is set to take place on Monday, April 10.
Only one application is allowed per household. Each household is allowed up to six tickets, with only two allowed to be held by adults. At least one child must be under the age of 12.
